We strategically place PARKLINQ-branded "Public Parking" signs facing public roads to guide drivers clearly, with payment instructions available every 5–10 parking spaces.

Additionally, PARKLINQ fully covers all ongoing operational costs, including enforcement, customer support, internet connectivity for cameras and kiosks, state taxes (GET)3, and payment processing — ensuring peace of mind and streamlined operations from start to finish.

ParkVision™ lets PARKLINQ and your authorized teams —such as security, property management, or administrative staff — see the parking lot from anywhere, using just a mobile phone or laptop.

Powered by solar with cellular connectivity, it operates without Wi-Fi or electrical hookups. Each camera records in 4K ultra-high definition, with night vision and 360° horizontal / 180° vertical panning for flexible viewing.

Video is stored securely in the cloud for 30 days, making it easy to review footage when needed for parking operations, incident documentation, or property records. Additional features include motion detection, programmable alarms, two-way audio, and an integrated microphone.

validation

Guests validate by either scanning a QR code or entering their license plate number on a small PARKLINQ validation iPad located within each participating business.

QR codes make parking validation simple — just scan for free or discounted rates. Sometimes, that’s all you need. At sites where locals already get larger ID-verified discounts than in-store validation, there’s no reason to game the system. But when higher-value perks are involved, some frequent locals may reuse a photographed code without returning to the store.

PARKLINQ’s in-store iPad kiosk closes that loophole by requiring direct license plate entry at the counter—fast for customers, impossible for non-customers to spoof. It’s secure, instant, and syncs in real time to our enforcement portal so on-site teams always know who’s validated or paid. Setup takes seconds. No Wi-Fi needed—just plug in and our cellular-connected validation system is live.

PARKLINQ collects basic info for most transactions, but restricted parking zones require extra verification. Our digital platform helps maintain secure access by confirming vehicle registration, insurance, and credentials like a driver’s or boater’s license. This replaces slow, outdated verification methods with fast, secure processing.

Credentials Verification

PARKLINQ collects minimal information for most paid parking transactions, like a license plate (for enforcement), contact details (for receipts and reminders), and a payment method. However, our Credentials Verification service requires additional details to ensure security and legitimate access to your restricted parking areas.

Designed for properties needing monthly permit holders to verify vehicle registration, insurance, and/or credentials (e.g., driver’s, boater’s, or fishing license), our secure digital platform replaces cumbersome mail-in or in-person verification. It ensures fast, secure data storage with robust security, similar to our payment and ID verification systems.

This streamlined process simplifies onboarding, enhances transparency, and helps reduce liability by confirming vehicles are properly registered and insured. These restricted zones are exclusive and not publicly listed on our website’s parking map, accessible only to authorized users.

Before managed parking is introduced, the most convenient spaces often fill up early in the day—sometimes by employees who understandably want quick access to their workplace. Once parking management begins, we often discover this is a major reason customers end up circling for a spot or choosing another location.

By designating employee parking in areas just beyond the prime spots—such as the outer edge of a surface lot or garage levels with lighter traffic—we can keep the most accessible spaces open for customers. Hawaii Exclusive

Tax
advantage

PARKLINQ holds an official letter ruling from the Hawaii Department of Taxation, providing the framework for property owners to classify their income under Wholesale services. 

This classification provides the framework for Hawai‘i property owners to classify parking income under Wholesale Services, which qualifies for a reduced General Excise Tax (GET) rate of 0.5% instead of the standard 4.5%. Under this structure, PARKLINQ remits the remaining 4% portion to the State — a model that leaves roughly $40,000 more in annual profit for a property grossing $1 million in parking revenue. However, PARKLINQ does not provide tax advice regarding how asset owners should report their income; owners should consult their own tax advisors for guidance specific to their situation.
