At any PARKLINQ location, simply:

  • Park your vehicle and note your license plate number.
  • Scan the QR code on the posted sign.
  • Select time and enter your license plate, phone number (to receive a receipt), and payment method to start your visit.

You’ll receive a 15-minute reminder before your time runs out, and you can extend your session directly from your phone.

In/Out Policy: You may leave and return during your reservation. In most cases, this won’t be an issue. However, on weekends, holidays, or during special events, spaces may fill up and we can’t guarantee one will be available when you return. Please note: unused time is non-refundable.

No problem. A locally-based live person is available daily at 808-517-5017, or you can visit one of our on-site team members in the lot for assistance. To speed things up, please have your license plate number and credit card ready when you call or meet with our staff.

If the QR code doesn’t scan, don’t worry—you can still start your parking session by:

  • Texting the zone number (printed next to the QR code) to our 5-digit phone number, 42222
  • Visiting parklinq.com and entering the zone number directly
  • Calling 808-517-5017 and selecting extension 1 to pay for parking by phone

PARKLINQ accepts credit cards, debit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Cash or check payments are not supported. No more digging for quarters or exact change—just tap, pay, and park.

Receipts are automatically sent by text or email when you pay. You can also log in to your PARKLINQ account and check Recent Visits to view past receipts or subscription payments. Monthly subscription receipts are issued on the 1st of each month, with an option to cancel auto-pay directly next to the receipt.

You can update your license plate anytime by:

  • Clicking the Edit button next to your license plate on your parking receipt
  • Logging into your PARKLINQ account and opening the My License Plate section in the menu

Yes. You can cancel for a full refund up to 5 minutes after your reservation start time. After that window has passed, cancellations are no longer available.

You can cancel directly from your receipt, or by contacting customer support at ticket@parklinq.com or 808-633-8555.

You may have received a notice on your windshield or in the mail because you or another operator of a vehicle registered to you recently parked at a PARKLINQ-operated parking facility and left without paying. Your notice included a photo of the vehicle in question with a location and time stamp.

To take care of it, visit parklinq.com/ticket where you can:

  • View visit details (vehicle images, date & time stamps, location info)

Yes. If you believe a notice was issued in error, you can dispute it online. Just visit parklinq.com/ticket, open your notice of violation, and select the Dispute option. Failure to pay in a timely manner may result in PARKLINQ taking additional action, including, but not limited to, towing the vehicle and/or referring your case to collections or other legal processes.

Select PARKLINQ locations partner with nearby businesses to offer parking validations. Most validations can be applied by scanning a QR code or using a validation kiosk at the front desk or checkout counter.

To validate, simply enter your license plate and leave before the validation period ends—or extend your time by paying for additional hours.

  • Can I validate more than once? Yes. In most cases you can stack multiple validations or extend your free/discounted time.
  • Can I validate after my visit ends? Validations must be applied while your parking visit is active, or within 30 minutes after it expires. Once 30 minutes have passed, validations cannot be applied retroactively.
  • Do I need a PARKLINQ account to validate? No account is required. You can validate using a QR code or validation kiosk at participating businesses.

Here are the most common reasons a validation may not go through:

  • Your visit isn’t eligible Validations are tied to the specific property where you parked. If you leave your car at one location but try to validate at a different property, the validation will not apply to your visit. This may result in a ticket or tow. Always validate at the business located on the same property where your vehicle is parked. For questions, ask the front desk or checkout staff, or contact us at info@parklinq.com or 808-517-5017.
  • Visit already ended Validations must be applied while your parking session is active, or within 30 minutes after it expires. Beyond that, validations can’t be retroactively applied.
  • Validation applied, balance still due If your validation only covers part of your visit (e.g., 1 free hour) and you stayed longer, the remaining time must be paid for. Example: if you park for 3 hours and validate 1 free hour, you’re still responsible for the 2 paid hours.
  • Already validated elsewhere Some locations only allow one validation per visit. In these cases, multiple discounts can’t be stacked. The kiosk or QR code will let you know if only one validation is permitted.
  • Poor cell signal Weak reception can interrupt the process. Try re-scanning in an area with better service, refresh the page, or ask the business to connect to their Wi-Fi.

  • At a PARKLINQ location now? Scan the QR code on any “Paid Parking” or “Scan to Park” sign to instantly view current rates and, if available, monthly subscription pricing.
  • Planning ahead? Open the PARKLINQ map, search your neighborhood, and tap a location on the map. You’ll see real-time parking rates for that site, plus monthly subscription options where offered.

A small service fee and tax are added to each parking visit or monthly subscription. These charges help cover state taxes and credit card processing fees, ensuring a seamless transaction.

  • The fee is calculated as a percentage of your total charge, with a minimum of $0.50 or 10% (whichever is greater).
  • The service fee is in addition to the parking rate itself.
  • You’ll always see the full cost—including service fee and tax—BEFORE you pay.

Yes. Many PARKLINQ locations offer special perks (LocalPerks™) for local residents—such as discounted rates, free parking, or locals-only spaces in the most convenient areas.

Here’s how it works:

  • Scan the QR code in the parking lot to start your visit.
  • You’ll be asked if you’re a local resident or visiting from out-of-state.
  • If you select resident, simply hold your driver’s license up to your phone camera to instantly verify residency and unlock local perks.

There’s no need to pre-register, wait in line, or fill out forms. Once you’ve verified your ID with LocalPerks™ at any location, the system will recognize your phone number at all other LocalPerks™ locations across the state. Verification is a one-time process—but you’ll still need to activate a new parking session each time you visit.

PARKLINQ uses your vehicle’s license plate number as the unique identifier for your parking session. Once you’ve paid, your license plate is automatically added to our system. Both cameras and on-site enforcement staff can quickly confirm payment through our enforcement portal by checking your plate number—no paper tickets or dashboard receipts required.

For most parking visits, PARKLINQ only collects the basics: your license plate (for enforcement), phone number (for receipts), and payment method.

In certain restricted areas, additional details may be required through our Credentials Verification service. This applies to locations that need extra security—such as monthly permit lots, private marinas, or other restricted properties. In these cases, you may be asked to provide proof of vehicle registration, insurance, or a license (e.g., driver’s or boater’s license).

Our secure digital platform replaces slow mail-in or in-person verification, ensuring fast setup and safe data handling with the same robust protections used for payments and ID verification.

This process helps confirm vehicles are properly registered and insured, improves transparency, and reduces liability for property owners. These restricted zones are exclusive and won’t appear on our public parking map—only authorized users will see them.

  • Trusted platform: All payments are powered by Stripe, the global leader that processes over $1 trillion annually.
  • Strict protections: We use industry-leading organizational, technical, and administrative safeguards to prevent unauthorized access, misuse, or disclosure. PARKLINQ never sells or shares your data.
  • License verification: If you upload your driver’s license for local resident perks, the photo is used only once to confirm eligibility:
    • Sent via TLS-encrypted connections
    • Not stored in our system (we only keep your name and verification result)
    • Address checked against secure global databases using AES-256 encryption
  • Alternative option: Instead of uploading a photo, you can manually enter your license information—verified through the same secure process.
